Ready-made puff pastry allows the hostess to prepare many different types of pastries - from sweet cakes to pies with meat or other savory fillings.
If you use ready-made puff pastry, you can make truly homemade pies in just 15 minutes.
Puff pastry pies with apple and cinnamon
Take ready-made puff pastry, cut the apples into small cubes (or rub on a coarse grater), add sugar to taste and a little cinnamon to them. Stir. Cut the puff pastry into small squares. Place a teaspoon of apple mass in the center of each square. You will end up with something like the "puff tongues" that are available in most stores. If you cut the puff pastry into rectangles and close the filling in this rectangle as in an envelope, you get real homemade apple pies. Such pies are baked in the oven for no more than 15 minutes.
Puff pastry pies with cabbage
Take the cabbage, chop it finely, salt to taste and add the finely chopped egg. Put this filling in small rectangles cut from a sheet of ready-made puff pastry, close them like envelopes and pinch the edges. The pies will be tastier if the filling is pre-fryed a little.
If desired, you can add a little coarse grated carrots or finely chopped onions to the filling.
Imagine with the composition of the filling. Make pies with mushrooms and potatoes or pears with raisins.
