It is necessary

  • - Fish (it is more advisable to take pink salmon or other moderately fatty fish) - 1 pc.;
  • - Large onions - 1 pc.;
  • - Carrots - 1 pc.;
  • - Lemon - 1 pc.;
  • - Butter - 100 g;
  • - Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.:
  • - Ground black pepper;
  • - Salt;
  • - Greenery for decoration;
  • - Foil.

Instructions

Step 1

Clean the fish from entrails and scales, rinse under running water. Remove the skins from the onions and carrots. Chop the onion into thin half rings, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the lemon into narrow rings along with the peel. If it is large, then each ring can be divided in half.

Step 2

Preheat a skillet and add vegetable oil. When it's warmed up, place the chopped onions in the pan and fry until golden brown. Then add the grated carrots, stir and fry the vegetables for a few minutes.

Step 3

Wipe the fish inside and out with black pepper and salt. Divide the butter into several parts. Fill the fish with sautéed onions and carrots, adding 2-3 lemon wedges and slices of butter.

Step 4

Turn on the oven, setting the temperature to 180 degrees. Prepare a sheet of foil. Place the fish stuffed with vegetables on it, covering it with the remaining lemon slices. Wrap the fish in foil so that there are no gaps. For reliability, you can wrap it with another sheet of foil. Secure the edges well and place on a baking sheet.

Step 5

Send the baking sheet of fish to the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour. When the time is up, remove the baking sheet from the oven and remove the foil and transfer the fish to a large platter. When serving, it can be divided into portions and put on plates, garnishing each portion with chopped herbs.
