There are many options for cooking pork in the oven. But one of the most successful is pork baked in foil. It will take a minimum of effort from the hostess to make the meat tender, juicy and very tasty. The oven and foil will do almost everything for you. This is especially true on holidays, when there are enough chores around the house. This baking method is universal. Optionally, beef or lamb can be used instead of pork.
It is necessary
- - pork (it is better to take carbonate or ham) - 1 kg;
- - garlic - 10 cloves;
- - small carrots - 1 pc.;
- - "Russian" mustard - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - French mustard beans - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - mayonnaise - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - black peppercorns;
- - a mixture of peppers;
- - Bay leaf;
- - salt;
- - baking foil.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the pork under running water and dry. Make many deep longitudinal and / or transverse cuts in the pulp with a sharp knife, for example in the form of a net. In a separate bowl, combine the salt and pepper mixture. Rub the mixture on all sides with this mixture, paying particular attention to the cuts.
Step 2
Place the meat in a bowl and coat it first with "Russian" mustard and then with mayonnaise. Or, you can pre-mix these sauces, and then cover the meat with the resulting mass - as it is more convenient for you.
Step 3
Peel carrots and onions. Cut the carrots into circles and cut the garlic into thin slices. Place a piece of carrot, garlic and peppercorns in each cut, trying to push them as deeply as possible. Top the pork with French mustard seeds, pepper a little, lay a few leaves of lavrushka. After that, cover the bowl with cling film and send the preparation to the refrigerator to marinate for 2-3 hours. For better impregnation, you can leave it overnight.
Step 4
Remove the meat from the refrigerator before baking. Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. Take the foil and place the pork in it. Pour in a little water, about 50 ml, and tightly wrap the edges of the foil on all sides so that there are no holes left.
Step 5
Place the pork in foil on a baking sheet or baking dish and place in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Open the foil 15 minutes before the end and bake the meat until the end of the allotted time. Thus, a golden brown crust is formed.
Step 6
Remove the prepared food from the oven, transfer to a large dish and cut into portions. Garnish the pork with herbs such as rosemary sprigs and serve with fresh vegetables.
