Since not every store can buy all the necessary ingredients for Arabian falafel, Russian chefs have modified the recipe for domestic products. The Russian version is also quite good.
It is necessary
- - 100 g of peas;
- - 200 g of white bread;
- - a tomato;
- - cucumber;
- - radish;
- - lemon;
- - parsley;
- - salt;
- - olive oil;
- - a clove of garlic.
Instructions
Step 1
First, boil the peas for 20 minutes. Then you need to drain the water, and dry the peas well.
Step 2
Pour white bread with a little water and knead until smooth.
Step 3
Finely chop the garlic and parsley, mix with peas and bread in a blender, salt. If the resulting mixture seems thin to you, add more white bread to it. In the end, the mass should be thick and suitable for sculpting.
Step 4
Roll into small balls about 5 centimeters in diameter from the resulting mixture. If possible, roll them in bread crumbs. Next, fry the balls for 20 minutes, having previously greased the pan with olive oil.
Step 5
It is advisable to serve this dish with vegetable slices. To do this, place finely chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes on a plate. Salad must be salt, add herbs, spices. You can also put a slice of lemon on the plate to give the dish an aesthetic look.
