Airy buns with ricotta and baked red pepper can be served with soups, they are a great alternative to regular bread. In addition, these rolls can be used as a snack.

- Ingredients for 10-12 rolls:
- - flour - 450 g;
- - a bag of dry yeast (6-7 g);
- - an egg;
- - a tablespoon of sugar;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - large red pepper;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - ricotta - 200 g;
- - coarse sea salt for decoration;
- - vegetable oil;
- - yolk.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Remove the stem and seeds from the washed pepper, cut into 4 parts. Cover a small baking sheet with foil, put the peppers peeled down, sprinkle with vegetable oil, bake for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Sift the flour into a large bowl, mix with yeast, ordinary salt and sugar. Beat eggs with milk and ricotta, combine with dry ingredients and knead the dough for 10 minutes. We transfer the dough into oiled dishes, cover with a towel, remove for 1-1, 5 hours in a warm place.
Step 3
Gently transfer the finished pepper to a plastic bag, close tightly and leave for 10 minutes. After that, remove the peel from the pepper, finely chop the pulp. Peel and chop the garlic.
Step 4
Add pepper and garlic to the finished dough, mix gently until smooth. Divide the dough into 10-12 pieces, roll each piece into a ball.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, grease the baking sheet with oil. We spread the buns on a baking sheet, leaving a small distance between them. Lubricate the buns with yolk, make a small cut in the form of a cross on the tops. We close the baking sheet with cling film, put it in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the film, sprinkle the buns with sea salt, bake for 20 minutes until a beautiful golden color. Serve warm or cold.
