Turkey with caramelized onions and red pepper is an original dish with an unusual taste. It perfectly combines spicy aroma and sweet and sour aftertaste.

- - ground black pepper

- - red wine vinegar
- - sugar
- - 150 g honey
- - 1 kg turkey fillet
- - 4 red onions
- - 3 red bell peppers
Instructions
Step 1
Rub the turkey fillet (or breast) liberally with black pepper and salt. Place the blank on a baking sheet, pre-oiled with olive oil. Sprinkle a little thyme on top of the meat and cover with foil. Bake the dish in the oven for 40-50 minutes.
Step 2
Once the turkey is cooked, place it on a separate plate and cut the fillets into medallions or strips. Place the blanks back on the baking sheet. Brush with honey and repeat baking for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Chop the bell pepper and red onion into small cubes. Fry the onions in olive oil, after adding a small amount of sugar to the contents of the pan. Wait until a brown crust appears, pour in some honey left over from stewing the turkey and a few tablespoons of red wine vinegar. Add red pepper a few minutes before cooking. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and fry for 5-6 minutes.
Step 4
Place the turkey medallions on a serving platter. Season the dish with caramelized onions and peppers and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve the turkey with a vegetable or potato side dish.
