Manty is one of the favorite dishes of our family. Cooking them is a pleasure - there is little time, but how tasty they are, and they replace the first and second courses! Hearty, juicy manti can be prepared both for a holiday and for every day!
It is necessary
- - mantle cooker;
- For filling:
- - minced pork and beef 50/50, 1 kg;
- - 2 medium carrots;
- - 3 medium onions;
- - 3-4 medium potatoes;
- - salt, black and red pepper, hop-suneli.
- For the test:
- - 1-2 glasses of boiled water at room temperature;
- - 1 chicken egg;
- - 500-1000 g flour;
- - salt.
- For the sauce:
- - mayonnaise, ketchup.
Instructions
Step 1
First, we prepare the filling for the manti. You can buy ready-made minced meat "Home", it just consists of pork and beef. And you can do it yourself by scrolling two types of meat through a meat grinder, in equal proportions. Put the minced meat in a large bowl so that it is convenient to mix. Wash the carrots, peel and cut into cubes, medium size, add to the minced meat. Peel the onion, chop finely and also send it to the minced meat. Wash potatoes, peel and cut into cubes, like carrots. We rinse in water, pass through a colander to get rid of the water and send it to a bowl with minced meat. Salt, pepper, add suneli hops to taste, and mix everything well in a large bowl.
Step 2
Cooking the dough. Take a bowl, pour 1-2 cups of boiled water, room temperature, salt to taste, add 1 chicken egg, mix well and add flour in small portions, mix well. The dough should be soft and should not stick to your hands. When the dough is ready, cover it with a towel and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
We spread all the dough on a cutting board for the dough, divide it into 3-4 parts, leave one of them, send the rest back to the bowl and cover with a towel so as not to get chapped. We roll out the rest into a sheet, 0.5 ml thick and cut into squares of average size, about 6 * 6 cm. 9-12 squares come out of one sheet. We lay out the filling for manti on them 2-3 tablespoons and sculpt with a triangle, an envelope, or a rose.
Step 4
Cooking sauce for manti: combine mayonnaise and ketchup in equal proportions in a bowl and mix.
Step 5
We put the mantle cooker on the fire, coat each leaf of the mantle cooker with sunflower oil. As the manti is sculpted, we put them in a mantle pot, leaving a small distance between them so that they do not stick together. Cook until tender for 30-40 minutes over low heat. As prepared, we take it out into a separate pan, coat with oil, and sculpt the following parts of the dough. When all the manti is ready, put it on a plate, and you can decorate it with herbs. Manty are ready!
