In order to prepare delicious canned cucumbers in tomato sauce for the winter, you must:

1. Cucumbers - 5 kg

2. Garlic - 200g

3. Tomato paste - about 150g, that's about three tablespoons

4. Refined sunflower oil - a glass or 250ml

5. Granulated sugar - 150g

6. Salt - 4 - 6 tablespoons, in the process you can add salt to your taste

7. Vinegar 6% - 150 ml

8. Hot paprika - 1 teaspoon

9. Ground black pepper - 1 tablespoon

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly under running water and soak them in cold water for a couple of hours. Then we cut off the ends. Cut the larger cucumbers lengthwise into four parts. Small - cut into two parts lengthwise. Finely chop the peeled garlic, or better press through a garlic press. We mix all the ingredients of the sauce, except for vinegar, pour cucumbers and put on fire. The fire should be moderate - the sauce should not boil.

We simmer cucumbers in sauce for about half an hour. Be sure to taste the sauce - it should not be very sweet or salty, but rather spicy. After another fifteen minutes, add vinegar. In total, the time for simmering our cucumbers on the fire should be about forty-five minutes.

Turn off the heat and cover the pan with cucumbers with a lid. You need to let them stand for about fifteen minutes. Then we lay out our cucumbers in pre-prepared (necessarily sterilized) half-liter glass jars. Pour cucumbers in jars with sauce and sterilize for about half an hour. We roll up the lids and turn over the rolled up cans until they cool completely.
