Prepare the following products for 5 kg of cucumbers: a liter can of tomato paste, 250 g of garlic, black peppercorns - 10 pieces, one and a half cups of sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt, vinegar 9% - 0.3 liters, the same amount of vegetable oil, bay leaf.

Wash and dry the cucumbers, cut into half rings about one centimeter thick or slightly less. Chop the garlic or press through a garlic press. Put everything in one bowl, pour in the tomato paste, mix. Cucumbers with tomato paste are great for those who like prefabricated preserves, but the tomato was not enough to be placed under the lid.

Add all prepared spices, salt and sugar, oil and vinegar to the resulting mixture. Stir and put on fire. Cook the cucumbers in tomato paste with frequent stirring for 20 minutes. During this time, you can have time to sterilize the banks.

It is better to choose jars with a capacity of 0.5 liters - then you can do without additional sterilization of the workpieces. Place the cucumbers in sterile, heated jars, washed with baking soda. Roll them up with lids. Turn the finished cans upside down and wrap them up with a blanket. Keep until the glass cools completely.

Such cucumbers are guaranteed to be preserved until the New Year. After standing in the resulting brine, they acquire a wonderful taste and retain their elasticity.
