It is necessary
- - large bulbs - 6 pieces;
- - chicken or vegetable broth - 1 liter;
- - olive oil - 3 tablespoons;
- - flour - 2 spoons;
- - juice from one lemon;
- - cinnamon stick;
- - ground turmeric, dried mint, fenugreek seeds - 1/2 teaspoon each;
- - granulated sugar, sea salt, black pepper, fresh parsley - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the onion into half rings, fry for ten minutes in olive oil, add pepper and salt, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Increase the heat, add spices, flour, the remaining oil, cook for four minutes, stirring constantly - no lumps should form.
Step 3
Gradually pour in the broth, add a cinnamon stick, cook for forty minutes.
Step 4
At the end of cooking, add sugar and lemon juice, remove the cinnamon. Taste soup with salt, remove from heat.
