Airy honey buns made from yeast dough are very tender and appetizing, and their preparation does not take much time.
It is necessary
- - 4 cups flour
- - 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- - 20 g fresh yeast
- - 1 ½ cups warm water
- - 1/2 cup heavy cream
- - 2 tablespoons of honey
- - some vegetable oil
- - flax and sesame seeds
Instructions
Step 1
For bun dough, take a large bowl and combine the flour and salt in it.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine warm water, cream and finally add fresh yeast.
Step 3
At a slow mixer speed, start gradually pouring the resulting liquid into the flour and salt mixture. Then add honey. Now switch the mixer to medium speed and stir for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Take a small amount of flour and sprinkle on your work surface. Lay out the dough and knead with your hands for a couple of minutes.
Step 5
Next, form a ball of dough, grease it with vegetable oil. Cover with plastic wrap and rest for a few hours, or better yet, overnight.
Step 6
Cut the dough into the required number of pieces.
Step 7
Each piece of dough should be kneaded several times and formed into a ball. Place all pieces of dough in a buttered round baking sheet, cover and let rise slightly for 2 hours.
Step 8
When the dough has doubled, sprinkle with sesame or flax seeds on top. Bake in the oven at 200 C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 9
After removing the buns from the oven, let them cool gradually. It would be better to lay them out not in a slide, but to put them on a wide dish. This will prevent them from sticking together and retain their shape.
By the way, if you put the buns after they have cooled in plastic packaging and put them in the freezer, then they can be stored for an average of 30 days without losing quality.
