Loose millet with oranges, herbs and tomatoes makes an excellent independent dish or a side dish for any meat dishes. You can add any dried fruits, various spices to such a salad to taste.
It is necessary
- - 100 g of millet;
- - 2 tomatoes;
- - 1 liter of water;
- - 1 bunch of parsley;
- - 1 orange;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of orange juice;
- - black pepper, salt;
- - 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil;
- - feta.
Instructions
Step 1
First, boil the millet, sort out the cereals, rinse under hot water, discard in a colander.
Step 2
Pour millet into boiling water, salt a little, cook for 10-15 minutes over moderate heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Throw the finished millet into a colander, rinse with hot water, cool.
Step 4
Cut orange pulp, tomatoes into cubes, chop parsley leaves.
Step 5
Pour orange juice, butter over millet, add orange, herbs, pepper, salt to taste, mix.
Step 6
Serve the salad to the table, sprinkle with crumbled feta.
