The most necessary

To surprise everyone with a great culinary product, you need to carefully consider the list of necessary ingredients and work hard, choosing high-quality ones. There is a list of products necessary for a cake, which are probably combined with each other, but you can replace some items in connection with your own taste preferences. So, you need:

- 4 chicken eggs;

- 300 g of white sugar (a little more, up to one and a half glasses);

- 150 g sifted flour (1/2 cup);

- 40 g of potato starch;

- 1 tsp baking powder;

- 2 packs of vanilla;

- 250 g of yogurt (not sweet and without additives);

- 30 g of regular gelatin and a transparent bag for cakes;

- 1 orange;

- a can of canned peaches;

- 0.5 kg of strawberries, pitted cherries and other favorite berries and fruits.

Cooking process

On the eve of the immediate start of cooking, you need to soak the gelatin in water. The next day, the process should start with processing fruits and berries. Important: leave a few peaches and berries to decorate the cake on top.

Send canned peaches and strawberries cut into slices into a blender, and then heat a little, but so that nothing is burnt. If fresh peaches are used, it is recommended to remove the skin from them by first pouring boiling water over them. Send the swollen gelatin into the hot resulting mass without excess liquid. Stir occasionally, putting on low heat until the gelatin dissolves, and then put the filling to cool.

The base of the cake is a biscuit. And it is this that needs to be baked in the next step. To do this, eggs with sugar are beaten in a deep container. Then flour, starch, salt, baking powder and vanilla are sent there and whipped. Then add the orange zest to the bowl (you can whole, you can half), well chopped and the resulting mass is thoroughly kneaded with a spoon.

Then cover the form or deep baking sheet with baking paper, grease with oil and sprinkle with flour or semolina. Half of the dough is poured into the chosen form and placed in an oven preheated to 180-200 ° C for 10-15 minutes. It turns out one biscuit cake. Similarly, the second dough is baked from the remaining dough.

Now you can mix the cooled gelatin filling with yogurt and put on the first cake, and cover with the second on top. Now the cake is sent to the refrigerator for a couple of hours. And shortly before pulling it out, the fruits remaining for decoration are beautifully cut and, according to the instructions on the package, transparent gelatin for confectionery is prepared.

When the cake is soaked enough, you can put fruits and berries on top and pour over the gelatinous mass. Then send it back to the refrigerator until it solidifies completely. Decorate the finished dessert with mint and whipped cream.
