While reading the fairy tale "Cinderella" with children, you can notice that many of them are very sad about the transformation of the carriage into a pumpkin and feel sorry for Cinderella.

This moment can be turned into an interesting, didactic cooking game by informing the kids that the hardworking Cinderella was able to use the pumpkin to its advantage. And she made a wonderful pumpkin puree soup from it, which we will also try to cook today with the children. For this we need:

• Small pumpkin up to 1 kg

• Celery root

• Carrot

• Onion

• Potatoes

• Olive oil.

• Prepared vegetable broth

Products are taken per liter of soup.

When acquainting children with a set of necessary products, we can say that they were obtained by thrifty mice from the fairy tale "Cinderella". So children will learn a thrifty attitude towards work and products.

First, chop the onion and simmer in a frying pan in olive oil until lightly browned. Now we will fry the carrots, potatoes and celery, after cutting them into rather large pieces. After five minutes, add the cut pumpkin in the same way. Pumpkin should be added after other vegetables, because it has a rather delicate flesh and can be easily spoiled by deep frying. Now combine all the prepared vegetables in one pan and simmer for another five minutes under the lid of the pan over medium heat. Watch your readiness constantly. Next, the resulting vegetables should be mashed, this is much easier to do with a blender, but if it is not available, you can use cheesecloth. Pour the puréed vegetables with ready-made vegetable broth and boil the soup again. Salt to your liking.

When you peel the pumpkin, it is best to keep the skins intact, without pulp and seeds. This is done in order to pour the soup directly into the pumpkin, it will be very beautiful and interesting. Keep the inside of the pumpkin clean and dry. When serving, you can add sour cream and herbs to taste. Do not forget to tell that the soup that Cinderella cooked was really liked by all the animals.
