These Turkish scones are a quick bite to eat during your lunch break or prepare for breakfast for the whole family. The dough turns out to be very tender, filling the buns in the form of cheese, green onions and heavy cream perfectly complements its taste.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 600 g flour;
- - 200 ml of boiled milk;
- - 100 g of butter;
- - 20 g of fresh yeast;
- - 3 yolks;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of olive oil;
- - 1, 5 teaspoons of salt and honey.
- For filling:
- - 250 g mozzarella cheese;
- - 100 ml heavy cream;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 1 yolk;
- - green onions, saffron.
Instructions
Step 1
Dissolve fresh yeast and honey in warm boiled milk. Add butter, flour, 3 yolks, salt and olive oil. Knead the dough from these ingredients. Store it in a warm place for 2 hours.
Step 2
Prepare the filling: cut the green onion into rings. The amount of onion depends on how much you love it and how much you want it to taste in your baked goods. Combine the onion with the grated cheese.
Step 3
Divide the matched dough in half. Roll half of the dough into a layer 0.5 centimeters thick. Grease half of the layer with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, spread half of the filling. Cover with the second half of the layer, press firmly, cut into strips 2 centimeters wide. Roll each strip into a tourniquet, then into a twist. Prepare similar coils from the second half of the dough.
Step 4
Put the whites on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, leave for half an hour.
Step 5
Dissolve the saffron in warm cream, add one egg yolk, stir. Grease the buns that have come up with cream, place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees.
Step 6
Bake the turkish whites with cheese and green onions for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot right away or allow the baked goods to cool.
