Viburnum fruit drink
You will need:
- 2 cups viburnum berries;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- one liter of water.
Wash the berries several times, remove seeds, crush or grind in a blender. Put the finished puree in the water, add sugar, mix, let it boil for two minutes. Then refrigerate. If desired, the fruit drink can be drained. This vitamin-rich treat will help support your immune system and beauty.
Viburnum jam
Ingredients:
- 1 kilogram of viburnum berries;
- 1 kilogram of sugar;
- 2 glasses of water;
- 1 lemon.
Viburnum fruits must be sorted out of debris, rinsed under running water. Then transfer to a colander and blanch in boiling water for two to three minutes. Boil sugar and water in sugar syrup, add prepared viburnum, boil and cook for five to seven minutes. Remove from the stove and leave for 9-10 hours. After the specified time, add lemon juice, put on fire again and boil again until tender.
Pour even hot jam into sterilized jars, roll up, remove overturned jars in a dark place, cover with something warm on top, for example, a blanket and leave until the viburnum jam cools. Throughout the winter, this jam will delight you with its unusual taste and help with colds.
Kalina in cosmetics
Viburnum berries have a whitening and tonic effect. To make a face mask out of them, you need to take:
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of viburnum berries;
- 1 teaspoon of honey.
Mash pure berries into a gruel, stir in honey and gently apply on the face. Wait 20-30 minutes. Then wash with warm water. The mask is suitable for those with normal or oily skin. Also, frozen viburnum juice is used when rubbing the face with ice in the morning.
