Fold the finished crispy cubes or wedges into a cotton bag. You can also store your croutons in a plastic container. Place the container itself in a dry, dark place. This can be, for example, a pantry or just a cabinet mezzanine. Do not store bread crumbs in the kitchen or any other similar place where they can pick up odors.
