Crispy cutlets or chicken are a real treat for the whole family for dinner. But at home there are not always prepared bread crumbs. In this case, running to the store is not at all necessary, because it is so easy to cook them yourself.

Step 1
Breadcrumbs in the store are very inexpensive, but if they ran out or you just didn't have them in your house, you should not deny yourself a truly delicious dinner. After all, there is always white bread or a loaf at home. Take a few slices of white bread and place them in a preheated oven or microwave. Check future crackers from time to time, they need to be turned over and make sure that they do not burn. For the microwave, it will take only 5 minutes to cook the crackers, and in the oven it will take a little more.
Step 2
When the crackers are completely dry, they should be crushed. It is best to do this not with your hands, as it is inconvenient and you can get hurt, but with a blender or a meat grinder. If neither one nor the other is not in the house, you need to crumble the bread into as small pieces as possible before drying the crackers. In the process of drying, crush the crackers with your hands and at the end of the process you will have fine bread crumbs. You can also grind breadcrumbs with a grater.
Step 3
If you use crackers right away, in one go, then it's not scary if they turn out to be a little underdried, but when you want to make a large amount of crackers in reserve, make sure that they are well dried, otherwise they will deteriorate. You can store crackers in a sealed jar or plastic bag.
Step 4
Then you can immediately start rolling the meat or cutlets in breadcrumbs. Or you can first add seasonings, salt and spices to the crackers, so your dish will sparkle with new tastes. Just do not overdo it, otherwise it will be impossible to eat this dish. If you add seasoned salt to crackers, do not salt the meat itself before cooking.
Step 5
The breadcrumbs should be cooked in a well-heated skillet with plenty of oil. That is, you need not just grease the pan with oil, but pour a layer of at least 3 mm, otherwise the crackers will quickly burn. Cooking such a dish does not take long, about 5-6 minutes, so do not try to make thick balls of meat or fry large pieces in breadcrumbs - they will not be fried.
Step 6
After frying, the pieces become crispy and the meat inside remains tender and juicy, as the breading prevents the liquid from being removed from the meat. Place the fried pieces on a paper towel for a short time to absorb the excess fat. After that, it is better to start eating right away: breaded dishes lose their properties after a while.
