1. Rich ginger jam

To prepare 4 servings you will need:

- 115 g of peeled ginger root;

- 3 cups of water;

- 1/4 freshly squeezed lemon juice;

- 2 cups of sugar;

- 1/2 pack of pectin;

- salt on the tip of the knife.

Grate the peeled ginger on a fine grater and place in a saucepan. Pour in 3 cups of water, let it boil and simmer for an hour. Then pour the contents into another saucepan, and rinse the one in which the ginger was cooked. Return the contents to the washed pan, add sugar and pour in the lemon juice. Let it boil again, boil for about a minute and add half a packet of pectin. Do not forget to stir thoroughly so that no lumps form! Let it simmer for another minute and remove the pot from the stove. Refrigerate, stirring for a few minutes, and place over sterilized jars.

This jam will be good with cheeses, as it has a very rich ginger flavor.

2. Jam with ginger and lemon

To prepare 8 servings, you will need:

- 6 large lemons;

1/2 cup grated, peeled ginger root

- 1 bag of pectin;

- 6 and 1/2 cups of sugar;

- 400 ml of water.

Wash the lemons and pour boiling water over for 10 minutes: this will remove excess bitterness from the zest. Then cut the lemons into several pieces to remove the seeds. Then grind them with a kitchen processor and put them in a saucepan; send peeled and finely grated ginger and 400 ml (2 tbsp.) water there. Bring to a boil and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add pectin, stir, add sugar, stir again and boil for 5 minutes. Cool slightly and place in prepared containers.

3. Orange jam with ginger

5 large oranges;

- 4 cups of water;

- 3 cups of sugar;

- 5 cm fresh ginger root;

- 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice;

- 1/2 bag of pectin.

Wash oranges, remove films and seeds and cut into small pieces. Put in a saucepan, add a tablespoon of lemon juice, peeled and finely grated ginger, 3 cups of sugar and half a packet of pectin. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and cook for about an hour.
