Ice cream is one of the most favorite treats for both children and adults. Cooking it at home is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance, but without an ice cream maker, the process of making it becomes somewhat more complicated.

How to make ice cream without ice cream

- 300 ml of milk;

- 250 ml 35% cream;

- three teaspoons of powdered milk;

- two teaspoons of starch;

- 100 grams of sugar;

- a teaspoon of vanilla sugar.

Pour 250 ml of milk into a saucepan, add sugar, vanilla sugar and milk powder, mix thoroughly. Dissolve the starch in the remaining 50 ml of milk.

Put the saucepan with milk on the fire, bring the milk to a boil. After the mixture boils, pour the milk and starch into it and continue to cook and stir until the mixture thickens.

Remove the pan from heat, cool the mixture slightly, then cover with plastic wrap and leave to cool completely. Whisk the cream until peaks, then stir in the chilled milk mixture.

Pour the resulting mass into a special container for freezing and place it in the freezer for three hours. Take out ice cream every 20-30 minutes and beat with a mixer.

Over time, put the ice cream in paper cups and put it back in the freezer, but for half an hour. Homemade ice cream is ready.

How to make a homemade popsicle without an ice cream maker

Prepare the ice cream itself according to the recipe described above (if desired, when preparing ice cream, you can add berries, nuts, chocolate, etc.), then pour the mass first into a container, and after hardening, transfer the ice cream into special elongated narrow molds (they can be purchased at any hardware store), trying to tamp it as tightly as possible. Place the molds in the freezer for 30 minutes, placing special popsicle sticks in the middle of each ice cream.

While the ice cream is solidifying, prepare the frosting. Take 100 grams each of chocolate and fresh butter, put the ingredients in a saucepan and melt. Cool the frosting to 30-35 degrees, then remove the ice cream from the molds, dip each in a lukewarm frosting and place on a tray covered with parchment. Place the popsicle in the freezer for 15 minutes.
