There is, perhaps, nothing easier than sausages, a hearty semi-finished product that is prepared in a matter of minutes. However, this product can also be the basis for creating a full-fledged hot dish with a claim to originality. Fry the sausages deliciously in thick tomato sauce, eggs, or crunchy corn dough.
Fried sausages in tomato sauce
Ingredients:
- 6 Bavarian sausages;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 1 tsp flour;
- 1/3 Art. water;
- 1/3 tsp each ground black pepper and salt;
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- 10 g each green onion and dill;
- 2-3 leaves of green lettuce.
Fry the sausages in vegetable oil for 3 minutes over medium heat, turning occasionally. Pull them out and set them aside for now. Remove the skin from one tomato, grate the pulp and place in the same pan where the main ingredient of the dish was prepared. Allow the tomato mass to become homogeneous, add flour, stir it and fry it lightly.
The peel from tomatoes is easier to remove if you first scald the vegetable with boiling water or scrape it with the blunt side of a knife blade.
Dilute the sauce with hot water, stir thoroughly so that there are no lumps, pepper and salt. Transfer the sausages to it, heat them a little and remove the dishes from the heat. Cover a plate with lettuce leaves, place the contents of a skillet on them, pour over the gravy, sprinkle with chopped herbs and garnish with slices of the second tomato.
Fried sausages with egg
Ingredients:
- 2 Viennese sausages;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 pinches of salt;
- 0.5 tsp dried basil;
- vegetable oil.
Cut the sausages deep across in 0.5 cm increments. Carefully roll them into a circle with the whole side inward and fasten the ends with toothpicks. Heat vegetable oil and fry the resulting rings in it on one side, then turn over. Break an egg into each one. Add a pinch of salt and fry for another minute. Transfer the sausages to portioned plates using a wide spatula and sprinkle the mini scrambled eggs with dried basil.
The dish will turn out to be more attractive if you first pour in the protein, and as soon as it grasps a little, put the yolk on top.
Delicious fried sausages in crispy dough
Ingredients:
- 12 milk sausages;
- 1 st. corn and wheat flour;
- 2 tsp baking powder;
- 2 tbsp. corn starch;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 1 tbsp. milk;
- 0.5 tsp ground black pepper;
- 1 tsp each sugar and salt;
- vegetable oil.
Combine both flours with baking powder, starch, salt, sugar, and black pepper. Beat the egg and milk separately and stir in the free-flowing mixture. Pour the thin flour mixture into a narrow glass. Gently string the sausages onto wooden sticks, leaving 3-4 cm tips. Place a deep skillet over high heat and heat the vegetable oil in it.
Make sure that the sausages are not wet, otherwise the dough will not hold on to them. Pat dry with a paper towel if necessary.
Dip the sausages into the dough, holding them by the skewer, and immediately place them in the hot fat. Fry them until golden brown and crisp, turning in a circle every 20-30 seconds. Use long tongs to avoid scalding your hands. Blot ready-made "kebabs" with a napkin to remove excess oil. Serve them with your favorite sauce.
