You can also store meat in vegetable oil. A piece of meat is placed in a bowl, poured with cold boiled vegetable oil, covering the meat completely. The hot melted fat, solidifying, protects the pieces of meat put in it from spoilage. Instead of vegetable oil, you can use cold

skimmed boiled milk or whey.

You can also save the meat by cutting it into pieces of 20-30 g, salt and fry in fat, the resulting crust allows the chilled meat to stay longer.

Having greased a piece of meat with fat (vegetable or pork, beef or lamb), it is wrapped in parchment paper. Hanging such a piece in a cool place will significantly increase its shelf life.

Pieces of meat can also be moistened with table vinegar and taken out to a cool place. For preservation, the meat can be salted, for this, the pieces are sprinkled with salt, and the brine is allowed to drain in 24 hours, then the salt is shaken off, and the meat is poured with boiling brine. It is prepared like this: pour 100 grams of salt and 2 grams of pepper into a bucket of water, add 5 tablespoons of saltpeter, 1 g of lavrushka and 5 g of garlic. Store salted meat in a cool place.

And on the road, for 2-3 days, it is better to do this: freeze purely dry meat tightly. Before going out, wrap it in a thick (terry) towel and wrap it in foil. Put all this in a container, for example, a bucket, and go. Place as cool as possible and wrap up to reduce defrosting of meat.
