    • mullet - 1pc;
    • lemon - 2 pcs;
    • bay leaves - 2 pcs;
    • thyme sprigs - 2 pcs;
    • parsley sprigs - 1 bunch;
    • butter - 1 tbsp;
    • olive oil;
    • salt and pepper.
    • For baked stuffed mullet:
    • mullet - 1 pc;
    • lemon - 1 pc;
    • butter - 2 tablespoons;
    • For filling:
    • butter - 2 tablespoons;
    • onions - 1 pc;
    • egg - 1 pc;
    • parsley - 2 tablespoons;
    • zest of 1 lemon;
    • ground black pepper;
    • bread crumbs - 120 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Baked mullet

Prepare the filling by combining all the required ingredients except the eggs. Mix well and add eggs. The filling should not be too watery. Stuff the fish with the cooked mass and place on a heat-resistant dish.

Step 2

Spread the bacon slices on top of the fish and bake the dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Garnish the fish with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs when serving.

Baked mullet with herbs
