Baked mullet can be an excellent dish not only for a festive table, but also as an everyday dish. This fish has a delicate taste and goes well with rice, pasta and any other side dish. The mullet will be especially good if you soak it in the marinade beforehand.
Ingredients: 1 kg mullet, 6 teaspoons of olive oil, 2 onions, 1 clove of garlic, parsley, fennel, salt, pepper, 0.5 cups of dry white wine, 2 tbsp. tablespoons of bread crumbs.
We cut off the fins of the mullet, remove all the insides, especially carefully remove the black strip near the intestines. We remove the head. Cut the fish into small pieces.
Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the onions for 10 minutes. We transfer it to a deep baking sheet.
On a baking sheet, put the pieces of fish on top, to which we add garlic, parsley, fennel. Salt and pepper. Fill it all with wine, cover with bread crumbs.
Cover the baking sheet and place in the oven heated to 180 degrees Celsius. We bake for 10 minutes, remove the lid and keep in the oven for 15 minutes until the fish is easily separated from the bones.
Serve with herbs.
