It is necessary

    • 2 slices of white bread;
    • 40 g hazelnuts:
    • 5 tbsp. l. chicken broth;
    • 2 cloves of garlic;
    • 4 tbsp. l. olive oil;
    • 2 tsp lemon juice;
    • 1 bunch of green onions;
    • salt
    • pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

To make the sauce, it is best to take toast bread, but if you do not have one at hand, it can be replaced with ordinary white bread or unsweetened bun, from which you will need to remove the crust, leaving only the crumb.

Step 2

Soak the bread in cold water for 5-10 minutes, after which it should be removed and squeezed out of excess water. Place the soaked bread in a blender bowl.

Step 3

It is recommended to lightly fry the hazelnuts to enhance the flavor, but if you don't feel like messing around or don't have time, you can leave them raw as well. In any case, before putting the nuts into action, you will need to chop them. Of course, you can buy them already ground, but freshly ground nuts have a more pronounced taste and aroma. Send the nuts to the bread bowl.

Step 4

Peel the garlic, chop thoroughly with a knife or garlic press. Add it to bread and nuts, add ready-made chicken broth there. Turn on the blender, grind all prepared foods with it until the consistency of a liquid puree.

Step 5

Cut the green onions into thin rings. If you have watercress growing on your windowsill, its leaves will come in handy with the peanut sauce, so you can add them too. Mix the herbs with the resulting puree.

Step 6

The sauce is almost ready. Season it with olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Step 7

And you can serve such a nut sauce with a variety of dishes. It goes pretty well with leafy salads, but it can be very useful with a steak or steak.

Step 8

If you want a more savory flavor, the hazelnuts in this sauce can be substituted for walnuts or even almonds. Or use a nut mixture altogether. Each time you do this, you will get a completely new sauce with an original taste.
