"Thousand petals" - this is how the name of the lightest puff pastry with butter cream, confiture and fresh berries is translated from French. Dessert for real romantics!

It is necessary

  • - 4 sheets of ready-made puff pastry;
  • - 340 g mascarpone cheese;
  • - 340 g whipping cream (35%);
  • - 80 ml of your favorite alcohol;
  • - 80 g of icing sugar + a little for sprinkling;
  • - 4 tablespoons favorite jam;
  • - 500 g fresh raspberries + some for garnish if desired.

Instructions

Step 1

Pre-defrost the dough if frozen. Put on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, prick with a fork and send to a preheated oven (220 degrees) for 15 minutes. Let it settle and cool and cut each layer into 4 equal parts.

Step 2

In the meantime, the dough is cooling down, prepare the cream. Whisk mascarpone cheese with powdered sugar. Add alcohol and beat again. Whisk the cream separately and then gently, kneading with a spatula from bottom to top, combine both mixtures. We transfer to a pastry syringe.

Step 3

We collect the dessert: take the first cake, cover it with 1 tbsp. jam and cover with a second crust. On it, gently squeeze the cream out of the pastry syringe and lay a layer of berries. Cover with 3 biscuits. Again we put cream and berries on it and cover with the last, fourth layer of dough.

Step 4

Sprinkle with powdered sugar through a sieve, put 2-3 berries on top and put in the refrigerator to cool. Bon Appetit!
