In the middle of summer, you can start pickling cabbage from 13 to 24 July. But the beginning and end of the month are not the best periods for that. And in general, July is the ripening time for many vegetables, berries and fruits, so it is better to include fresh fruits in the diet.

In August, mid-season cabbage varieties begin to ripen, which are usually eaten fresh in autumn. However, if there is a desire to ferment such products, proceed, but only set aside a day for this in the period from 13 to 24.
