It is necessary

  • - fresh rose petals
  • - 4.5 liters of water
  • - 1 kg sugar + 300 g sugar
  • - 2-3 pieces of raisins
  • - fermentation tank
  • - plugs for clogging
  • - water seal (lid, can, tube, sealant)

Instructions

Step 1

Pick petals from garden roses. They, in contrast to the purchased cut, are more aromatic and are not treated with the strongest chemicals. There should be enough petals to fill a 2 liter jar.

Step 2

Pour the petals into a large container, pour 4.5 liters of water, add 1 kg of sugar, close tightly and place in a warm place for fermentation.

Step 3

After 4-7 days, add another 300 g of sugar and install the water seal. A water seal is needed to release carbon dioxide from fermentation and to prevent oxygen from entering the fermentation tank. If you do not put a water seal, the wine alcohol will turn into wine vinegar. There are several types of such water locks. You can use the following. You will need a lid, a large diameter tube, a can. It is enough to make a hole in the lid of the fermentation tank, insert the tube and seal the junction with glue. The other end is dipped into a jar of water.

Fermentation lasts about two weeks in hot summer, in cooler - three weeks.
