Dandelion wine recipe is not a myth. It came from time immemorial, from old England, and until now has not lost its popularity. Dandelion wine not only has an unusual taste - it can help in the treatment of diseases such as anemia, tuberculosis, and also strengthens the immune system.

To make dandelion wine, pick yellow flowers away from highways and the bustling city. Separate the flowers from the green receptacle. Count 500 yellow flower cups and rinse them well. Place in an earthen or glass vessel - it should have a capacity of about ten liters. First, put a piece of yeast bread on the bottom. Fill the dandelions with a liter of honey and clean water - you will need one and a half liters, ideally if you find spring water, but you can also use purchased purified water.

Wine should be left to ferment for two to three months, so choose a quiet place carefully. Close the container tightly with a lid, a tube must be attached to it, brought out. Dip the end of the tube that goes out into a jar filled with water - this way the air bubbles that form during fermentation will not flow back into the earthen vessel.

Strain the finished wine into a clean bowl through cheesecloth. The liquid is amber in color and has a pleasant smell. It is better to store wine in glass bottles - its solar energy can "recharge" you throughout the winter. You need to drink wine a little - just 50 g before meals.
