The recipe for making coffee on sand has been known since ancient times. A turka with a drink, immersed in the sand, heats up evenly from the bottom and sides. Therefore, coffee turns out to be much tastier and more aromatic than conventionally prepared.

It is necessary

  • - quartz sand;
  • - frying pan;
  • - Turk;
  • - 3 tsp coffee beans;
  • - 2 tsp Sahara;
  • - 100 ml of water;
  • - saffron or cardamom to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Use only the finest quartz sand for making coffee on sand. It conducts heat well. Sometimes sand is mixed with salt.

Step 2

Grind the coffee beans to the finest possible powder. A fine grind provides the maximum dose of caffeine in brewed coffee. For 1 serving of the finished drink, you need 3 tsp. with top of coffee beans. Pour the ground coffee into a Turk. Add sugar. Add a pinch of saffron or cardamom as desired. Pour about 100 ml of pure boiled water over coffee, stir.

Step 3

Add sand to the high-sided skillet. Place the brazier over an open fire, electric or gas stove. Heat the pan, stirring the sand occasionally. Place the coffee turk as deep in the sand as possible. The bottom of the turkey should also be on a layer of sand, and not in a frying pan.

Step 4

Remove the turk from the sand as soon as the foam starts to rise and small bubbles appear around it. Make sure that the drink does not boil. When the foam settles slightly, return the turk to the sandy pan. Repeat the procedure at least 2-3 times. This will give you a richer coffee aroma. Moreover, the more stages of coffee brewing you carry out, the stronger the finished drink will turn out. Let the coffee in the Turkish steep for a couple of minutes.

Step 5

Serve your coffee on the sand right in the turk, complete with a thin porcelain or thick-walled ceramic cup and a small, long-handled spoon. Pre-pour the cup with boiling water and dry it. Spoon the foam into a cup. The quality of the prepared drink is characterized by how well the foam adheres to the spoon. And then carefully, so as not to damage the froth, pour the coffee along the side of the cup. You should not filter coffee from the grounds. Offer a glass of cold drinking water with ice, figs, dates, honey, candied fruit. Drink coffee slowly, in small sips, washed down with ice water.
