Of course, real tasty and strong coffee is difficult to brew at home. But a geyser coffee maker is one way to get a very good drink.
A geyser coffee maker is simple and accessible to every customer, but you should not be prejudiced against it, since it is in such a coffee maker that you can brew coffee that will be much stronger and more aromatic than the one that can be obtained with the help of many models of a different type. This coffee maker is called a geyser because if you open the lid while brewing coffee, you can see something that looks like a geyser.
A geyser coffee maker consists of two halves that are twisted together. With its help, you can brew coffee both on a gas stove and on an electric one.
To brew coffee using a geyser coffee maker, pour water into the lower (indicated by the letter A in the diagram) part of it (the water level should not be higher than the valve, which looks like a screw with a hole in the middle). Cover this reservoir with a filter (it looks like a hybrid of a small bowl with holes in the bottom and a funnel, in the diagram - B). Place the ground coffee in this filter so that it is evenly distributed over the entire area of the bottom of the bowl. Screw the upper part (C) tightly onto the lower reservoir, then put the coffee maker on low heat. Remove the coffee maker from the heat after the coffee stops pouring into the top. After that, let the coffee maker with coffee stand on the stove for another minute, and after that pour the drink into the cup.
Helpful hints:
1. Thoroughly rinse the geyser coffee maker with laundry soap before first use.
2. Adjust the amount of coffee to your liking. For example, in order to get a weak Americano, 1-1.5 teaspoons of ground coffee is enough. If you want to get a strong espresso, pour two to two and a half times less water for the same amount of coffee.
3. After each use, immediately disassemble and rinse the coffee maker by hand.
