Olivier is a traditional New Year's salad, which from year to year celebrates this bright holiday with us. Many housewives want to make it better than last year. The convenient and simple composition of this salad opens up a huge scope for the imagination of hostesses.
It is necessary

- - eggs 3 pcs.;
- - carrots 2 pcs.;
- - pickled cucumbers 4 pcs.;

Instructions
Step 1
First you need to cook eggs (7-10 minutes), carrots and potatoes. Then let them cool down. It is important not to overcook potatoes and carrots, otherwise you will get porridge.
Step 2
Next, cut pickled cucumbers and sausage into small cubes (instead of sausage, you can use boiled chicken, beef or pork).

Cut the cooled eggs, potatoes and carrots into cubes.
Step 4
Chop the herbs finely and add them to the salad. We put the required amount of mayonnaise and mix everything thoroughly. Add a jar of peas, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
We take a flat plate. You can make a Christmas tree for each plate in portions, you can make one large one, but then you need a large flat plate. We spread some lettuce and carefully shape (in the form of a triangle) the future Christmas tree with a knife. From above, it is advisable to make it flat so that the toys do not fall off.
Step 6
Chop the herbs very finely (parsley or dill is ideal). We spread all of it in an even layer on the salad. It is important that there is enough greenery to completely hide the whole salad, so that the Christmas tree will look like a real one.
Step 7
The final touch will be Christmas tree decorations from everything edible that comes to hand. Here you can turn on a little imagination. Cut a star on top of a carrot, put a garland of corn or mayonnaise, distribute some peas or red caviar on the tree (only carefully so as not to burst with it), decorate with small sausage circles, etc.
