Chocolate cookies are a favorite of many. Crispy, with a rich taste, it leaves almost no one indifferent. Surprise your loved ones by making your own chocolate chip cookies. It will not take long, and the taste of the resulting dessert will appeal to both children and adults.

- 150 g sugar
- 200 g butter or margarine
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 300-350 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder (or 0.5 tsp slaked soda)
- 100 g chocolate
Instructions
Step 1
Unplug the butter or margarine from the refrigerator about an hour before making the dessert, and once it's soft, you can start. Grind butter, sugar and vanilla sugar in a deep bowl. To do this, gradually add sugar to the softened butter and, stirring, rub the sugar in the butter with the convex part of a tablespoon. Over time, the grains will become invisible, and the mass will become white and uniform.
Step 2
Break the egg into a separate bowl, shake with a fork (no need to beat). Add the egg to the butter and sugar.
Step 3
Gradually add cocoa to the mass, pour it in a small stream, stirring the dough. When the cocoa mass is smooth, stop stirring.
Step 4
Add baking powder to flour, mix. Add flour to the mixture and start kneading the dough. Continue for at least 5 minutes (it is advisable to knead the dough with your hands, as the heat will help the dough to get the desired consistency).
Step 5
Take a rolling pin and roll out the dough on a flat surface. Its thickness should be about half a centimeter (the dough will not rise, so immediately adjust the height of the cookies to your liking).
Step 6
From the resulting crust of dough, cut out the figures of the future cookies. To do this, use special shapes, or cut out the figures with a sharp knife.
Step 7
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place one layer of baking paper on a cold baking sheet (if it is missing, coat the baking sheet with butter).
Step 8
Place the dough figurines on a baking sheet and place in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Step 9
To decorate, melt the chocolate bar in a water bath and use, for example, a pastry syringe to make the cookies even more attractive. You can also just glaze the tops of the cookies.
