Plain fried liver is too boring and boring. It is much more interesting to cook a spicy, tasty and healthy shish kebab. Liver kebab is served along with herbs, vegetables and delicious sauces.
Ingredients:
- dry spices - 2 pinches;
- vegetable oil - 100 ml;
- ground black pepper - 2 pinches;
- salt - 0.5 tsp;
- natural yogurt - 100 g;
- mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons;
- lard - 100 g;
- onions - 3 pcs;
- chicken liver - 400 g.
Preparation:
Thoroughly wash the chicken liver in running water, cut out the bile. If the pieces are too large, cut them in half. Next, take care of the onion, peel it from the husk, cut off all excess and chop into rings, about 4 mm thick.
Put the liver in some deep dish, add the onion. Sprinkle with pepper, salt and your favorite spices to taste. Mix everything well.
Mix the yogurt and mayonnaise, pour the mixture on the onion and liver. Stir well and refrigerate for 2 hours, covered tightly.
Cut the bacon into small cubes. You can take smoked or fresh - at will. Use whichever is more to your liking.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes. After the allotted time, string lard, liver and onion on each skewer in turn.
Fry the kebab in a pan with heated vegetable oil. First, make the fire strong so that a crust forms on the liver. Then reduce it a little and continue to fry, constantly turning the dish over. 5 minutes before the end of cooking, add 100 ml of water to the pan and cover, let the liver steam a little.
If you don't have a lot of experience in cooking, check the readiness of the liver by piercing the meat with something. If a red liquid comes out, it is not ready yet. Serve the prepared liver shish kebab with salads hot.
