Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of macaroni, in the form of large shells
  • 1 chicken breast
  • 200 g champignons
  • 1 onion
  • 50 ml cream (any fat content is suitable, but 20% is preferable)
  • 100 g cheese (any hard cheese will do)

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • 1 glass of milk of any fat content
  • 50 g butter (you cannot substitute margarine, otherwise the sauce will lose its signature flavor)
  • 3 tbsp wheat flour of the highest grade

Julienne cooking instructions

  1. Boil seashells in salted water. In the process of cooking pasta, stir gently so as not to spoil the shape of the products.
  2. Wash, peel the mushrooms. Cut them into cubes. Fry the mushrooms with chopped onions.
  3. Once the food is ready, remove it from the pan into a deep bowl.
  4. Cut the chicken breast into cubes. They must be large enough to fit into the shell. Fry the chicken in sunflower oil. You do not need to fry too much. The meat should be juicy and soft.
  5. Salt and pepper the finished chicken fillet. Add cream to the pan. After 10-15 minutes, the meat is saturated with a creamy aroma. After that, it will need to be sent to a bowl with mushrooms. Mix everything thoroughly.

Sauce preparation instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a hot skillet.
  2. In a separate container, mix milk and flour until smooth. There should be no lumps.
  3. Pour the dairy mass into the pan. It must be constantly stirred. Thus, bring to a boil over low heat. The sauce will thicken slightly as it cools.

Preparing julienne for baking

  1. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Stuff the shell pasta tightly with meat and mushrooms.
  3. Lay them tightly to each other.
  4. Pour the sauce over everything. The more it is, the juicier the julienne will turn out.
