Pancakes are a delicious, hearty breakfast. Almost every housewife has in her arsenal of recipes, at least a couple of options for making pancakes. But not everyone knows how to make them openwork.
Openwork pancakes on kefir
You don't need any special culinary skills to make delicate pancakes. Even a novice hostess will cope with the task. It's simple and fast.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml kefir;
- 50 g wheat flour;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 10 g of vegetable oil;
- 50 ml. water;
- 2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 1 pinch of salt.
Cooking instructions
- Break the chicken egg into a deep bowl. Beat it with a whisk with granulated sugar and salt.
- Pour kefir into the egg mass. Mix.
- Add sifted flour. Beat everything thoroughly.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. As soon as the mass thickens, you need to add boiling water to it.
- Pour vegetable oil into the dough.
- Bake pancakes in a well-heated skillet.
Pancakes brewed with boiling water always turn out tender, delicate.
Openwork pancakes on a kefir-milk mixture
You can cook pancakes with milk-kefir mass. They turn out to be denser, but no less tasty.
Ingredients
- 500 ml of kefir;
- 1 glass of milk;
- 1, 5 cups wheat flour;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 2 tbsp. l. sunflower oil;
- 2 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 0.5 tsp baking soda;
- a pinch of salt.
Cooking instructions
- Break 2 chicken eggs into a deep bowl. Beat them lightly with a fork.
- Add granulated sugar to the container. Stir it in with the egg mixture.
- Pour in salt, soda.
- Heat kefir in a microwave oven. It should be around 40 degrees.
- Pour kefir into a container with egg mass.
- Sift flour. Add it to the main bowl. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
- Bring milk to a boil.
- Pour hot milk into the dough in a very thin stream, constantly stirring the mass.

If necessary, you can add some more flour to the dough.
- Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the dough. Mix everything thoroughly again.
- Pour the dough into a preheated pan. Make it evenly distributed over the dishes.
- It is necessary to bake pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
The milk in the recipe can be replaced with boiled water. These pancakes will be lighter.
Note! Cast iron pans are best for openwork pancakes. If one is not available, you can use a thick-bottomed pan.
Pancakes are tender, delicate and appetizing. Serve them hot. Such pancakes with honey, condensed milk, or jam are especially tasty.
