Step 1

The filling for pepper can be different: meat, vegetable, and mushroom. Vegetarians and dieters make minced carrots and eggplant. Someone likes the classic version of rice and meat, while others love the stuffing of cabbage and mushrooms. Start with peppers stuffed with meat and rice.

Step 2

Take fruits that are not very large, of the same size. Wash sweet peppers thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel. Cut off the top carefully and remove the seeds.

Step 3

To prepare the minced meat, pass the meat (pork and beef, 800 g) and two peeled onions through a meat grinder. To make the finished dish juicy, choose fatty meat. Add 100 ml of washed rice to the minced meat, salt and pepper to taste. Stir the mass thoroughly with your hands, with such processing, the necessary stickiness appears, and the minced meat does not fall apart during cooking.

Step 4

If you took ready-made minced meat, combine it with a sautéed onion and one carrot. Fry vegetables in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes. Combine minced meat, vegetables, and rice in a bowl.

Step 5

Stuff the gutted peppers with the filling tightly so that there are no voids. Place the prepared fruits in a saucepan so that they do not fall, they stand with the filling up. Pour the peppers completely in hot water with one hundred grams of tomato paste.

Cook for 30 minutes, then add two finely chopped garlic cloves.

A slightly different recipe for making peppers stuffed with vegetables. The washed and gutted fruits must be scalded, and then filled with the filling.

Step 8

Prepare a few jars of fragrant lecho for the winter. Take 2.5 kilograms of sweet bell peppers of different colors. Wash it, peel it and cut it into cubes. Peel a kilogram of ripe fleshy tomatoes, sprinkle with boiling water. In a blender, prepare tomato puree, add three tablespoons of tomato paste to it.

Step 9

Start making the sauce. Add 100 ml of vegetable oil, 100 ml of table vinegar, 150 g of sugar to your tomato puree. Simmer the mixture. Put three finely chopped onions in the prepared sauce. When the mixture boils, add the pepper to it. Stir the lecho over the fire for 5-10 minutes. Place finely chopped garlic cloves and one small chili in one jar.
