  • - 2 cups dry beans or 2 cans of canned beans;
  • - 2 tomatoes;

Step 1

If you chose dry beans, soak them in water overnight, drain the water in the morning, fill with fresh water almost to the top, cook in a slow cooker for 2 hours in the Stew mode. Add canned beans to the dish immediately without soaking, just drain all the liquid from it first. Take any minced meat, fry it, pepper, salt, add ground cumin (cumin).

Step 2

Scald the tomatoes, remove the skin, cut the pulp, add to the fried minced meat along with the tomato paste, simmer for a couple of minutes. Peel the onion and bell pepper, chop finely, fry separately for 5 minutes. After that, transfer to the multicooker bowl to the beans. Minced meat, chopped hot chili peppers, garlic and herbs are also sent to a slow cooker, leave for 1 hour in heating mode.

Step 3

Serve ready-made chili from beans in a slow cooker with sour cream, sprinkle with fresh herbs. Chili is also served with chips, plain bread, or corn tortillas. Traditionally, this dish is very spicy, much spicier than this recipe produces. If you like spicy, then replace 1 tomato in the recipe with 1/2 cup adjika, add chili pepper or just a mixture of ground peppers to taste.
