In addition, the taste is influenced by the form of cutting the tuber and the way in which it is prepared. Even just baking potatoes with cheese in the oven can be done in different ways.

It is necessary

    • 800 g potatoes;
    • 200 g of cheese (hard);
    • 2 cups milk;
    • one egg;
    • 4 tablespoons oils (vegetable);
    • garlic - 1 clove;
    • 1 tsp salt;
    • ground pepper (black).

Instructions

Step 1

Turn on the oven, it should warm up well to 180 degrees C.

Step 2

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 3

Rinse the potatoes well, peel and wash one more time. Cut it into circles and place in a deep bowl or saucepan.

Step 4

Sprinkle the potatoes with pepper (the amount depends on your taste) and salt. Add only half of the grated cheese. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 5

Pour milk into a small bowl and add egg. Take a whisk (you can use a fork) and beat a little, the mixture should be homogeneous.

Step 6

Peel, wash and cut the garlic in half, preferably lengthwise. Rub a frying pan or other ovenproof dish in which you will bake the whole dish with garlic. Pour oil there and distribute it evenly over the entire surface.

Step 7

Place the cooked potatoes in a skillet. Gently cover the potatoes with the milk and egg mixture.

Step 8

Place the potato dish in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. Check the readiness of the dish with a toothpick, for this you need to pierce the potatoes with it. If the dish begins to burn on top, but inside it turns out to be damp, then cover the container with potatoes with foil and bake until tender.

Step 9

Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle the remaining cheese on the potatoes and place in the oven again for 5-10 minutes. When a delicious crispy cheese crust appears on top, the dish is ready.
