If you have fresh spinach but don't know what to cook with it, you can try using it as a filling for oven baked potatoes with cheese.
It is necessary
- - 4 medium sized potatoes;
- - 100 gr. spinach;
- - 100 gr. Philadelphia cheese;
- - 150 gr. bacon;
- - medium onion;
- - 100 ml of cream;
- - grated cheese;
- - pepper and salt.
Instructions
Step 1
The potatoes need to be washed very well, wrapped in foil and sent to an oven preheated to 180C for 60 minutes. It is best to check the readiness of the potatoes with a toothpick. If necessary, increase the baking time by 10 minutes.
Step 2
The finished potatoes must be cooled before further use.
Step 3
We clean the onion and chop very finely. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Fry onions in a frying pan. When it becomes transparent, add the bacon. Fry everything until golden brown, and then transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Cut off the upper part of the cooled potatoes, use a spoon to take out the pulp from it and make mashed potatoes from it with a fork.
Step 5
Mix mashed potatoes with fried bacon and onions, add Philadelphia cheese and cream. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, add chopped spinach, salt and pepper. Stir for the last time and fill the potatoes with the filling. Sprinkle each potato with grated cheese and bake in the oven until golden and crispy.
