First you need to pour water into a saucepan and put it on fire.

Add salt, peppercorns, a couple of bay leaves, 2 cloves of garlic to boiling water. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon there. Let the brine boil.

Since the shrimp meat is tender, it does not require long cooking. The general rule for boiling shrimp: cook small Atlantic shrimps for 1-2 minutes, large king prawns - no more than three minutes. If you digest the shrimp, the meat will turn out to be rubbery. Cooking your shrimp properly will keep the meat soft and tender.

After the brine has boiled, we immerse the shrimp in it. Let it boil, and leave it to cook for a couple of minutes (no longer).

After turning it off, you can leave the shrimp in the brine for another 15-20 minutes, this will give them juiciness and taste. Place on a large platter, drizzle with lemon juice and serve.
