Bananas and apples are healthy and tasty fruits. Banana is a natural antidepressant, apple is an excellent source of iron for the human body. Both of these fruits have long become a favorite dessert for children and adults, and the dishes prepared from them make it possible to diversify the everyday and festive menu.
Apple jam
This delicious and cheap dessert can be used as a filling for pies and donuts, an interlayer for apple pie and as a treat for a cup of fragrant tea.
Ingredients:
- apples - 2 kilograms;
- granulated sugar - 1 kilogram.
Rinse the apples well under cold running water, cut each into quarters and remove the core and seeds. Put the prepared apples in a saucepan, add a little water (so that the fruits do not burn when boiling) and cook over low heat until completely boiled.
Wipe the hot mass through a medium sieve to remove the rind and remnants of the cores. Add granulated sugar to the resulting applesauce and put the mixture back into the saucepan. Put on fire again and boil the applesauce until thickened. Arrange the jam in pre-sterilized jars and roll up the lids. Store jam jars in a cool place.
Apple pilaf
Ingredients:
- apples - 300 grams;
- rice - 150 grams;
- zest of 1 lemon;
- raisins - 50 grams;
- sugar - 50 grams;
- butter - 10 grams.
Rinse the rice in several waters until transparent and cook so that it is crumbly.
For pilaf, take long-grain rice, it cooks faster and sticks less.
Wash the apples, peel them, peel them, and cut into slices. Pour 1, 5 cups of boiling water, bring to a boil over low heat, put the cooked rice, lemon zest, raisins, sugar, butter there, cover the pan with a lid. Simmer pilaf. Cut 1 apple into slices and garnish with pilaf. This dish is served as an independent dish hot and cold.
Banana scrambled eggs
Ingredients:
- chicken eggs -2 pieces;
- banana - 1 piece;
- butter - 5 grams;
- salt.
Peel the banana, cut it into circles, about 1 cm thick. Beat raw eggs with salt in a mixer until light foam. Take a small skillet, brush it with oil and place the banana slices on top of it. Fry the circles until golden brown, cover them with beaten eggs and simmer until the eggs are tender.
Banana jelly
Ingredients:
- bananas - 11 pieces;
- sugar - 5 glasses;
- lemon juice (freshly squeezed) - 100 milliliters;
- gelatin - 50 grams;
- butter - 0.5 teaspoon.
Peel the bananas and beat them in a blender. Transfer to an enamel pot and pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Put a saucepan with bananas on low heat and heat slightly, add butter and gelatin to them. Stir well and, stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the boiling point slightly and pour all the sugar into the saucepan. Stir again and let it boil again.
The jelly must be constantly stirred so that it does not burn.
Once it boils, turn off the heat and start pouring the banana mixture into the tins. When the jelly has cooled down a little, put it in the refrigerator until it solidifies completely.
