Banana & Berry Diet Smoothie

Ingredients:

- 1 tbsp. fresh berries (black currants, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, etc.);

- 1 banana;

- 1 tbsp. drinking yoghurt of low fat content.

It is better to rub raspberry or blackberry puree through a fine mesh sieve so that the smoothie does not turn out "grainy".

Rinse the berries and pat dry on a paper towel. Place them in a blender bowl and mash them into a smooth puree. Do the same with a banana, after cutting it into cubes. Combine both fruit mass in one bowl and pour in cold yogurt. Stir everything with a spoon and let stand for 2-3 minutes, then whisk, changing the blender attachment to a cocktail one. Pour the smoothie into two tall glasses and serve as a light snack.

Oatmeal Pie with Bananas and Berries

Ingredients:

- 2 bananas;

- 1 tbsp. fresh or frozen berries;

- 1 tbsp. small oatmeal;

- 1 tbsp. milk;

- 1 chicken egg;

- 3 tbsp. liquid honey;

- 0.5 tsp baking powder;

- 0.5 tsp cinnamon;

- 1 tsp each powdered sugar and vanillin.

Slice the bananas into thin circles and place in a foil-lined round baking dish. Cover them with half a serving of fresh berries or berries thawed at room temperature. Season everything with a pinch of cinnamon, pour over 1 tbsp. honey, cover with a second sheet of foil and place in an oven preheated to 190oC for 15 minutes.

Ingredients:

- 2 bananas;

- 1 tsp brown sugar;

- a pinch of cinnamon;

- 30 g butter;

- 1 tbsp. cognac;

For the sauce:

- 1, 5 Art. fresh berry platter;

- a quarter of a lemon.

Slice the bananas longitudinally. Melt the butter and fry the fruit slices in it for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Sprinkle them with brown sugar, cinnamon, sprinkle with cognac and light them with a match. Do not stand too close to the stove to avoid scalding. Wait for the flame to go out and remove the cookware from the heat.

If the berries are too sour, it is permissible to add a little sugar to the sauce, but do not overdo it, otherwise the dessert will be too cloying.

Grind the berries in a blender or food processor and rub the resulting gruel through a sieve. Stir the sauce with fresh lemon juice. Place the flambé bananas on a flat plate and cover generously with the sour gravy.
