Ordinary jelly is not only delicious, but also a very healthy dessert. The gelatin contained in it has a beneficial effect on the condition of joints, nails, hair, bones, cartilage tissue. And if you take agar-agar (a product made on the basis of seaweed) or pectin as a jelly-forming base, you can increase the body's ability to remove toxins, toxins and even heavy metal salts.

It is necessary

    • Gelatin - 1, 5-2 tbsp. spoons;
    • sugar - 100 g;
    • apple - 1 pc.;
    • water - 500 ml;
    • pear - 1 pc.;
    • pitted cherries - 0.5 cups
    • can be canned or from compote;
    • mint - 2-3 branches;
    • jelly molds.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare your fruit. Sort out the berries. Rinse with water. Peel the apple and pear. Cut them into pieces. An apple looks beautiful when it is cut into thin slices, a pear - “slices” or “strips”. To prevent the apple from "rusting", sprinkle it with a little lemon juice or cut it immediately before adding it to the syrup.

Step 2

The base of the jelly is syrup. To prepare it, pour half a liter of water into a small saucepan and put on fire. As soon as the water boils, pour one glass of granulated sugar into it, stir with a spoon. Reduce heat.

Step 3

Add the previously prepared apple and pear to the boiling syrup for a few minutes. The fruit should only slightly "grab", but not boil over. Your base is ready. Remove the apple and pears from the saucepan with a slotted spoon and place on a plate. They will still be useful to you. Pour the syrup into a bowl and refrigerate.

Step 4

Now it's the turn for the main component of jelly - gelatin. To do this, pour one and a half or two tablespoons of gelatin with cold boiled water at the rate of 1: 8 or 1:10, that is, 12-20 spoons. Stir and leave to "swell" for 20-30 minutes.

Step 5

While the gelatin comes to readiness, start decorating the dessert. Lay apples and pears in layers on the bottom of the bowl. To give the dish a "bright spot" put cherries (pitted), in this case fresh or canned are suitable. If using frozen cherries, sprinkle lightly with sugar or powdered sugar before adding to the mold. However, you can leave the berry "as is", then it will add a certain "sourness" to your dessert.

Step 6

Is the gelatin swollen? Put it on a slow fire. Once the gelatin is completely "melted", strain it, then add to the syrup and stir. Pour the prepared jelly mass into molds with fruits. Put a mint leaf on top of each bowl. Put the jelly in the refrigerator to freeze. When serving the finished dessert, garnish with whipped cream, grated chocolate, berries, nuts.

Step 7

If desired, oranges can also be added to the jelly. Or make a separate dish out of them. To do this, peel one orange, cut into circles, sprinkle with sugar. Leave for thirty minutes for the orange to give juice. Then it must be poured into the syrup. And put the orange in the molds. Then pour the syrup with gelatin added to it.

Step 8

You can also diversify the dish with ordinary cookies. Broken into small, but not too small, pieces, it will be a good addition to your dessert. The cookies are added immediately before adding the gelatinous syrup, then they will not have time to get very wet.

Step 9

Would you like to make a flaky dessert? Then pour only part of the gelatin syrup into molds and refrigerate. When the jelly has acquired a "shaky" consistency, add another layer of fruit or berries to the mold and pour out the remaining syrup. And again - in the refrigerator.
