Oven-baked chicken is a delicious, nutritious and healthy dish at the same time. And so that the meat ultimately turns out to be especially tender and aromatic, it is better to pre-hold it in the marinade. The latter can be prepared from a wide variety of products - from mayonnaise to sweet juice.
Simple garlic mayonnaise marinade
To prepare the marinade according to this recipe, you will need:
- 2 parts mayonnaise
- 1 part sour cream;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- salt and black pepper to taste.
Season the washed and dried chicken with salt and pepper both outside and inside. In a separate cup, mix mayonnaise with sour cream, add garlic passed through a press and mix again. Rub the outside of the chicken with the cooked marinade and let it sit at room temperature for an hour. Then place in a preheated oven and bake until tender.
Spicy marinade with pineapple juice
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp. tablespoons of granulated sugar;
- 100 ml of soy sauce;
- a pinch of ground ginger;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- 1 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- 100 ml of pineapple juice.
Pineapple juice in this recipe can be substituted for orange juice. But it must be natural, otherwise the taste of the dish will be spoiled.
Combine liquid ingredients in a separate bowl and heat slightly. Add sugar and finely chopped garlic there. Let the marinade sit and cool to room temperature. Cut the chicken into portions, add a little salt and place in a non-oxidizable dish.
Pour the marinade over the meat, cover with a flat plate, on which place some weight. Refrigerate the chicken and marinate for at least 3 hours, turning the pieces occasionally. Then bake in the usual way.
Before putting any meat in the oven, it must stand at room temperature for at least 20 minutes - then it will turn out to be tastier and more tender.
Hot spicy marinade
Ingredients for 1 chicken:
- 4 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of honey;
- 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sesame oil;
- 5 cloves of garlic;
- 1 teaspoon of paprika;
- 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper.
It is better to use liquid honey for this marinade. A heavily candied product must first be melted a little in a water bath, but not brought to a boil.
Wash the chicken, dry it and cut into large pieces. Peel and chop the garlic, put it in a bowl and add the rest of the marinade ingredients to it. Mix everything thoroughly, and then dip each piece of meat in the prepared marinade. Place the chicken in a deep bowl, pour over the rest of the marinade, cover and leave for 1-2 hours at room temperature.
Then place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C. During baking, be sure to water the chicken with the juice that stands out.
