A soup based on bull's tail broth combined with canned red beans is incredibly satisfying and delicious.
It is necessary
- - bovine tails (850 g);
- - red beans (300 gr);
- - beef (400 gr);
- - vegetable oil (1 tbsp. spoon);
- - onions (1 large onion);
- - tomato paste (2 tablespoons);
- - flour (1 tbsp. spoon);
- - dry red wine (100 ml.);
- - bay leaf (4 leaves);
- - black pepper (one pinch).
Instructions
Step 1
Boil 1.5 liters of water. Salt. Add oxtails. Boil the broth for 1 hour.
Step 2
Cut the beef into small pieces, pepper and fry in vegetable oil. You need to fry the meat with the lid open, until golden brown.
Step 3
Add finely chopped sautéed onions to the meat.
Step 4
Combine flour with tomato paste. Stir well. Add wine. Season the meat and onions with the resulting sauce.
Step 5
Simmer the meat under the lid for half an hour
Step 6
Remove the cooled oxtails from the pan. Return the separated from the bones and finely chopped meat to the broth.
Step 7
Pour the contents of the pan into the saucepan. Add beans. Cook the soup for another half hour.
Step 8
Put bay leaf in the soup and let the dish brew for about fifteen minutes.
