A bright and tasty dish of beef with fennel will not only decorate your festive table, but will also be remembered by all guests.

- - young potatoes 400 g
- - beef broth 300 mg
- - olive oil 2 tbsp. l.

- - dried fennel 1 tsp
- - sea salt ½ tsp.
- - beef 250 g
- - tomatoes in their own juice 200 g
- - 1 clove garlic
- - fresh fennel 400 g
- - leeks 60 g
- - flour 1 tbsp. l.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan, add finely chopped beef and fry over low heat for two minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Remove the meat from the pan, add salt to taste and transfer to a separate bowl.
Step 3
Pour the remaining olive oil into a skillet, add the chopped leeks and squeeze out a clove of garlic, all need to fry a little.
Step 4
Peel and dice the tomatoes and add them to the onions, adding a tablespoon of flour.
Step 5
Stir and add the pre-cooked beef broth, cover and wait until it boils.
Step 6
Place the previously cooked meat in the skillet and cover. Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.

While the beef is cooking, cut the potatoes into slices (or large wedges).

Take another pan and brush with a little oil. Fry the potatoes and chopped fennel together for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Add fennel seeds, salt and pepper to your potatoes to taste. Fry the potatoes until cooked for another 10 minutes.
Step 10
When serving, place the fried potatoes with fennel and the beef next to it.
