It is necessary
- - 1 kg of plums;
- - 300-400 g of sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
We begin the conservation of plums by sterilizing the jars into which we will roll them up. Traditionally, they are sterilized over steam or calcined at high temperatures in an oven. It is better to take cans with a volume of 0.5 liters or 0.7 liters.
Step 2
Now we turn directly to the preparation of plums. To do this, select a ripe (prerequisite) plum of medium size without defects. My fruits and let them dry. We cut each plum into two parts, take out the bone. Put the halves on a baking sheet tightly to each other, put them so that they look up with the pulp. Then sprinkle with sugar at the rate of 300-400 g of sand per kilogram of plums. The amount of sugar can be increased if the fruits are not sweet enough. We put the baking sheet in the oven and set the temperature to 200-250 degrees.
Step 3
As soon as the plum begins to boil, turn off the oven, take out the baking sheet. We carefully transfer this mixture into sterile jars, roll up with metal lids. Before that, be sure to boil the lids for 5-10 minutes. We turn the jars upside down, cover them with something warm, like a blanket, and keep them there until they cool.
Immediately after preparation, the canned food seems liquid, but then the contents of the cans become gelatinous. Jars can be stored at room temperature.
