Instructions
Step 1
Wash the carcass of a hare (weighing 3-3, 5 kilograms) in cold water, peel off films and cut into pieces. Transfer the pieces to a cup and cover with a liter of cold water and a glass of vinegar. Leave the meat to marinate in this form for 2-3 hours.
Step 2
Peel and cut 2 medium onion heads into half rings. Remove the meat from the marinade, transfer to a frying pan or baking sheet, pour 3-4 tablespoons of odorless vegetable oil, salt to taste, add onion. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and fry until golden brown. Be sure to pour the juice formed on the baking sheet at least 3-4 times over the meat (if you do not do this, the pieces of hare will turn out to be dry and tough).
Step 3
After the meat is well browned, remove the baking sheet or skillet from the oven and place it in a shallow pan (a non-stick pan is best for stewing). Prepare the sauce from juice and 2 glasses of sour cream and pour everything with it (it is best to use store sour cream 15-20% fat). Close the saucepan tightly with a lid and put in the oven to simmer for 25-30 minutes.
