Pork knuckle baked with honey and soy sauce is a great hot dish for the New Year's table. Juicy, tasty and aromatic meat will not leave anyone indifferent; the symbol of the next year, the Yellow Dog, will also like it.

- - 1 knuckle of a pig (about 1 kg);
- - 4-5 cloves of garlic;
- - 2 tbsp. l. honey;
- - 4 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
- - spices and aromatic herbs to taste.

Step 1
Line a baking sheet with foil crosswise. Put a pork knuckle in the middle, make small cuts in it on all sides.

Remove the husk from the garlic and cut each clove into 3-4 cloves. Put these slices in the holes made in the shank.

On top of the meat you need to grate with natural honey. If the chalk is too thick, you can melt it in a water bath.

Next, you need to pour the shank with soy sauce. It will make the meat very tender and juicy.

Spices are used to taste. Spicy lovers can grate the meat with a mixture of peppers. You can also add a dry mixture of aromatic Provencal herbs.

The pork knuckle should be tightly wrapped in foil in two layers.

Next, you need to warm up the oven well, to about 220 degrees. Put a baking sheet with a knuckle in foil in a hot oven. The meat should be cooked for about 60-80 minutes.

You can also bake a knuckle in foil in a multicooker. To do this, use the "Multi Cook" or "Bake" mode. You need to put the shank in the multicooker bowl, close the lid, choose one of two modes and set the time - 80 minutes. The cooking temperature should be 180 degrees.
